Taking up our cross

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.’ – Spoken by the Son of man in the word of Jesus – Gospel of the Kingdom

Many persons is living in the teaching that ‘JESUS/Christ’dies for them. That this death upon baptism make them to be living what is known as the Grace of God. This false teaching make them to be living in a false hope of reaching Heaven when the flesh is no longer in the Land of the living.

In the Gospel of the Kingdom Jesus Christ teaching as Jesus let us to know that we must take up our own cross.

He told us that it is taking up our cross that will make us to follow Him and to be WORTHY of Him

To take up our cross is to face the Judgment of our past. We have to take responsibility for all the actions we have done. Then ask for FORGIVENESS.

Where ever the forgiveness is needed then the Lord will show what is the truthful way of making the situation to be favourable unto you where you shall live to SIN no more.

In denying yourself you shall replace your ways of doing things with the ways of the Lord. In denying yourself you shall make PATIENCE to become you.

You are not going to take RISK but instead going to allow what the Lord shown unto you to be Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge for  you.

To be Worthy of Jesus Christ is to be as Him. He carried His Cross with Love, Righteousness, Truth and Obedience. When you follow Him then you shall be as Him.

Christ or Jesus could not suffer and die for man. But because of Christ suffering and death man is able to receive Repentance and Remission for sins when the cross is pick up.

‘And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.’

It is very important that when a sinner is called unto Repentance he/she only listen unto the voice that spoke within.

This is the beginning of picking up your cross. When the Lord present Himself into you His Sheep. You cannot go listening unto others but letting the Good Shepherd to guide you.

‘And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.’

Picking up your cross will be face with persecution. But with your love for the Lord Jesus Christ using His words it shall be Good unto you.

May you choose to stand firmly with Love and never fear what man can do unto you. The flesh will perish but the Spirit lives for ever.

Jesus Christ the Only Begotten Son was given to us by the Spirit. Accept Him today by picking up your cross.

Worship God in Spirit and in Truth. Seek Repentance and Remission of Sins in the Name of Christ. Hugs
